Directions

Suspend 44.14 gms. in 1000 ml. distilled water. Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely. Dispense in 100 ml. amounts and sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. Cool to around 50°C and aseptically add sterile 5 ml blood to every 100 ml medium. Mix well and pour into sterile petri plates.
