Suspend 47 gms. in 950ml. distilled water. Boil to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 12-15 lbs pressure (118-121°C) for 15 minutes. Cool to around 50-55C and aseptically add sterile, 10 ml. of 1% Potasium Tellurite Solution (BF010) and 50 ml. of sterile sheep, rebbit of human serum. Mix well and pour into sterile petri plates. |
