Final pH (at 25°C) : 7.0 + 0.2

Directions 

Suspend 23.27 gms. of B131 in 1000 ml. distilled water. Boil to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. A white precipitate prior to sterilization becoming yellow to orange after sterilization is normal. Agar is the solidifying agent.
