Rehydrate the contents of 1 vial aseptically with 2 ml. of sterile distilled water. Mix well and aseptically add to 500 ml of sterile, molten Columbia Blood Agar Base w/1% agar (B148) along with 5% v/v defibrinated blood. Mix well and pout into sterile Petri plates. |
