Rehydrate the contents of 1 vial aseptically with 2 ml. of sterile distilled water and Mix well to dissolve. Avoid frothing of the solution. Aseptically add the contents to 500 ml of sterile, molten Blood Agar prepared from Columbia Blood Agar Base (B994 / B148) / Blood Agar Base No.2 (B116 / B117) with 5-7% v/v lysed defibrinated horse blood / Brucella Agar Base ( / ) with 5% v/v inactivated horse serum or Campylobacter Agar Base (B964).Mix gently and pour into sterile Petri plates. |
