Suspend 20.5 gms. in 475 ml. distilled water. Boil to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121 °C) for 15 minutes. Cool to 50°C and aseptically add rehydrated contents of 1 vial of Polymyxin B Selective Supplement and 25 ml. of sterile Egg Yolk Emulsion. Mix well and pour into sterile petriplates. |
