Suspend 52 grams in 1000ml. distilled water. Boil to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. Cool to 50°C and aseptically add rehydrated contents of 1 vial of Ampicillin supplement. Mix well and pour into sterile petri plates. |
