Suspend 63.5 gms. in 1000 ml. distilled water. Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely. Add 1 gm. of Esculin in medium. Mix & dispense into tubes or flasks as desired. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. Allow the tubes medium to solidify in slanted position. |
