Suspend 21 gms. in 1000 ml. distilled water. Boil to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121° C) for 15 minutes. Cool to 45°C and aseptically add 2.85 ml. of 1% Potassium tellurite along with 1% Horse serum and Mycoplasma Enrichment Supplement. Mix well before dispensing. 25% Ascitic fluid can be used instead of Horse serum. |
