Suspend 40.1 gm. in 1000ml distilled water. Heat if necessary to dissolve the medium completely. Dispense 10ml amounts in test tubes containing inverted Durham’s tubes. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. For testing larger quantities of samples prepare concentrated medium to accommodate volume of the test samples. |
