Final pH (at 25°C) : 7.3 + 0.2

Directions 

Suspend 28.5 gms. in 1000ml distilled water. Boil to dissolve the medium completely. Dispense in tubes in 8 – 10 ml amounts. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. Cool to 50°C and add appropriate arbohydrate. Mix well and allow the tubed medium to cool in an upright position.
