Suspend 40 gms. in 990 ml. distilled water. Boil gently to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. Cool to 45-50°C and aseptically add rehydrated contents of one vial of Neomycin supplement (BF106) and 5% v/v defibrinated sheep blood. Mix thoroughly before pouring into sterile plates. |
