Suspend 45 gms in 1000 ml distilled water. Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely. Dispense in 5 ml. amounts in 12 mm tubes. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. Allow the tubes to cool in slanted position to give a butt of 3 cm and slant of 2 cm or in an upright position. |
